1. Equipment type selection

  • Crawler type shot blasting machine: suitable for cleaning and strengthening castings and forgings, small circular springs, bearings and other workpieces.

  • Hook type shot blasting machine: mainly suitable for surface treatment of various medium and large castings, forgings, welded parts, and heat-treated parts.

  • Rotary table shot blasting machine: suitable for cleaning flat and collision prone workpieces. The workpiece is placed flat on the turntable and the shot is vertically thrown onto the surface of the workpiece.

  • Trolley type shot blasting machine: suitable for shot blasting cleaning of various large castings and forging structural components.

  • Suspended chain shot blasting machine: suitable for shot blasting cleaning of small cast iron parts, cast steel parts, forgings, and stamped parts.

  • Roller through shot blasting machine: suitable for shot blasting cleaning of structural components, H-beams, steel plates, and other types of steel.

  • Steel pipe inner and outer wall shot blasting machine: suitable for shot blasting cleaning of the inner and outer walls of steel pipes.

  • Steel cylinder specific shot blasting machine: used for shot blasting cleaning of the inner or outer walls of steel cylinders, acetylene cylinders, oxygen cylinders, etc.

  • Anchor chain specific shot blasting machine: used for cleaning anchor chains to improve their fatigue strength and corrosion fracture resistance.

  • Wire specific shot blasting machine: mainly used for cleaning and strengthening the surface of small round steel and wire.

  • Mesh belt shot blasting machine: suitable for surface shot blasting of thin-walled castings, thin-walled and fragile iron or aluminum alloy castings, ceramics and other small parts.

  • Crawler through shot blasting machine: suitable for cleaning the surface of small aluminum parts, copper castings, galvanized parts, etc.

  • Steel plate/profile pretreatment line: The processing technology of surface shot blasting and rust removal of steel before processing, and coating with a layer of protective primer.

2. Equipment configuration and performance

  • Shot blasting equipment: Choose equipment with moderate power consumption and appropriate number of shot blasting equipment to ensure cleaning effectiveness and economy.

  • Sealing and chamber design: Choose movable parts with labyrinth flow guiding structures, as well as chambers and doors with reasonable structures that are not easily deformed.

  • Separators: Choose between air flow screen or air flow screen+magnetic separation separators based on the sand content of the castings.

  • Dust removal system: Ensure that the dust collector, fan, air duct speed, pipeline layout, and equipment are matched to avoid poor dust removal effect after a period of use.
